Kevin comes from both the Mogiana region of Brazil and the Jiwaka province of Papua New Guinea.
The Mogiana region, spanning São Paulo and Minas Gerais, is renowned among Brazil's growing regions, characterized by rolling hills and small to medium farms. This lot is sourced from Cooperativa Regional de Cafeicultores em Guaxupé (Cooxupé), founded in 1937 with 14,000 active members. Cooxupé's dry mill ensures traceability and quality control, allowing producers to be compensated based on coffee quality.
Kevin is sourced from approximately 1500 small-scale farms in Kindeng and Arufa municipalities. We then receive it from the Kindeng Dry Mill in Papua New Guineas Jiwaka province. Jiwaka, known for its coffee and tea, boasts a warm and humid climate ideal for shaded cherry maturation. Further north, the Jimi River Coffee network comprises 703 smallholders adhering to Good Agricultural Practices (GAP) for sustainable production. Improved market access and communal support.
