About the event
Celebrate Earth Week by giving new life to old pieces. In this hands-on linocut workshop, you’ll learn the fundamentals of printmaking. From transferring your design, to carving, inking, and hand-printing, then apply your work directly onto thrifted clothing or fabric.
This session is perfect for beginners or anyone curious about printmaking. Together, we’ll explore how slow, intentional art can transform something forgotten into something personal and wearable. Each print becomes a one-of-a-kind piece, shaped by your hands.
All carving and printing materials are provided. Participants are asked to bring 2–5 pieces of clothing or fabric (like t-shirts, jackets, or tote bags) to print on. Items ready for a second life.
Join us for a relaxed, creative evening at Semantics Cafe and leave with new skills, fresh inspiration, and wearable art you made yourself.
